HTP # 2 Heat Treated Soy Protein
|
- Heat and Chemically Treated Protein from Extruded Soybeans
- A Source of Rumen Bypass Protein for Ruminant Animals
- Manufactured with a licensed technology by Triple "F" Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, USA, to increase the percentage of rumen bypass protein to over70% of consumed protein
- Contains:
- Not less than 35% Crude Protein
- Not less than 15% Crude Fat
- Not more than 6% Crude fiber
- 80% TDN
- 9% ADF
- 18% NDF
- Instructions for use:
- Feed as a major source of natural protein to light weight feeder cattle and newly arrived feedlot cattle that have decreased manufacture of microbial protein, during the first 10 days after arrival to the farm
- Feed to supply the major requirement of natural protein for growing cattle (3-6% of Dry matter intake). Little GOLDEN PRO- NPN should be FED in this stage
- A smaller amount of HTP is required (2-4% of Dry matter intake) for finishing cattle. A larger amount of GOLDEN-PRO- NPN can be used to satisfy protein requirements during this period
- Feed to balance the low quality roughages normally used in cow calf program. HTP should provide the balance of protein need from GOLDEN-PRO and the roughages. Approximate usage is 5-6% of dry matter intake
- Feeding recommendations:
- Growing heifers: Use to supply the major source of protein and amino acids for achieving the desired growth and gain
- Lactating Cows: Feed 1.5 - 4.0 kg/head/day or about 15% of dry matter intake to meet the milk production potential of the herd
- Feed HTP to lambs, growing and finishing sheep and to gestating and lactating Ewes. Feed as a major protein source in the starter, grower and lactating ewes. HTP consumption may range between 5-6% of dry matter intake.
